Thermtrol Corporation Acquires MGI Manufacturing, Inc.
NORTH CANTON,
Ohio, August 15, 2007 – Thermtrol Corporation announced
that it closed an agreement today to purchase the assets
of MGI Manufacturing, Inc. of Cary, IL, a leading wire
harness manufacturer specializing in insert & over
molding, harness assembly, and contract assembly. MGI, a
TS16949 Certified company, had 2006 revenues of US$11
million and is particularly active in the Automotive,
Agricultural, and Sensors & Controls markets.

acquisition of MGI is exciting to the entire Thermtrol
family. It brings Thermtrol additional competency in the
manufacture of automotive wiring harnesses. It will also
provide MGI additional resources from Thermtrol’s global
manufacturing and marketing teams. This acquisition will
be used as a core for future acquisitions. To the many
customers and suppliers of Thermtrol and MGI, this
joining will enable our group to continue to provide
world-class service, competitiveness, professionalism,
