MGI has been serving the
electro-mechanical needs of multiple industries since
1987.
During that time MGI has
risen to the top 8% of wire harness, plastic insert
molding and electro-mechanical manufacturing companies
in the United States. We are headquartered in a 45,000
square foot manufacturing facility in Cary, Illinois.
Quality: MGI is
quality certified to the ISO TS16949 standard. TS16949
is the highest International Quality level achievable
for the global automotive industry and exceeds all other
quality standards.

Small: Our customers range from small privately held
companies that dominate their niche market to many large
multinational corporations. MGI products are found in Toyota, Nissan,
Cadillac, International Trucks, Cummins Engines,
Polaris, Bombardier and many more.

Manufacturing: MGI’s operations are versatile,
ranging from providing proto-type/test harnesses, to
batches of less than 10 units, to productions runs in
the tens of thousands.

MGI has several electrical and electromechanical
engineers on staff to work with our customers on
solutions to their electrical, wiring and over molding
challenges.
Inventory Management
Programs: MGI can provide customized delivery,
packaging and Kanban ordering programs to support
today's
customer in lean manufacturing efforts and programs.

Thermtrol Corporation, based in North Canton, Ohio.

protection and acquired MGI in August, 2007. The
acquisition provides MGI additional resources from
Thermtrol’s Global Manufacturing and Marketing teams.
